we provide two options for purchasing heartworm, flea & tick, and other preventatives. See below for a full list of products, and services. Contact clinic@indyhumane.org for current pricing.

Available at our Michigan Road Vaccine Clinic or our Downtown Clinic. Next day appointments often available. Flea/tick prevention, heartworm prevention, de-wormer, rabies tag replacement and cardboard cat carriers available. 

Michigan Road Appointments available Tuesday-Saturday 11:00 AM - 4:30 PM.  This is a quick process – your prepackaged order will be ready at the clinic desk.

Downtown Clinic Appointments available on Monday-Friday 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM. We utilize a quick curbside process at this clinic. Text when you arrive and your pre-packaged order will be brought to your vehicle.

Covers Distemper, Adenovirus 1 & 2, Parainfluenza, and Parvovirus, 4 major environmental diseases in dogs

Bordetella

Kennel Cough. Recommend for dogs who visit grooming, daycare or boarding facilities, dog parks, etc. Required by many facilities.

Leptospirosis

Spiral bacteria contracted from wildlife that can cause fevers, liver/kidney failure, and can be transmitted to humans. Required by many dog parks, daycare or boarding facilities.

Influenza

Bivalent Canine Flu. Recommended if your dog goes to events, dog shows, or other places with many dogs. Required by many daycare or boarding facilities.

Prevents Lyme Disease, passed by ticks. Recommended if you find any ticks on your dog

Heartworm test

For dogs 6 months and older. Annual testing is required to purchase heartworm preventative. Heartworms are transmitted by mosquito bites year-round. It is common in Indiana and is fatal.

Recommended for dogs with unknown history, puppies under 4 months, or dogs/puppies presenting worms in droppings. This product comes with 2 doses that are given 2 weeks apart.

For pets with visible fleas. Kills adult fleas only. only lasts for 24hrs and should be followed immediately by a flea preventative.

For vaccine clinic clients more than 6 months of age who are not spayed or neutered and can be applied toward your spay/neuter procedure should you schedule one within 1 year at the IndyHumane Downtown Clinic This fee will be waived for all dogs and cats who are spayed/neutered.

Blood work

Available with a vaccine clinic appointment or a spay/neuter appointment (results will not be available until after surgery). Results will be provided via email within 72 hours. 

IndyHumane will only interpret results for pets with an already scheduled spay/neuter appointment at our clinic (appointment date must be after results are received). If you do not already have a scheduled spay/neuter appointment at our clinic, your regular veterinarian must interpret the results.
