Hi, I'm Potato!

I may be a little shy when we first meet, but don't let that fool you. I'm a sweet, friendly pup who just likes to take my time getting comfortable in new situations. New people, sounds, and places can make me feel a bit timid at first, but with patience and kindness, I quickly start to show my lovable personality.

One thing that helps me come out of my shell? Treats! I absolutely love tasty snacks and am always happy to accept a yummy reward from a new friend. Treats are a great way to win my heart and help me build confidence.

I'm also currently heartworm positive, but don't let that discourage you. Heartworm is treatable, and I'll need a family willing to support me through my treatment and recovery. In return, you'll get a loving companion who is more than worth the extra care.

Once I trust you, you'll see just how affectionate and gentle I am. I enjoy spending time with my favorite people, getting pets, and relaxing by your side. I'm looking for a family that understands some dogs need a little extra time to settle in and shine.
