Hi, I’m Bento! I’m a shy and sensitive boy who can be pretty nervous when I first meet new people or find myself in unfamiliar surroundings. I may hang back and watch from a safe spot at first, but please don’t mistake my nervousness for not wanting love. I just need a little extra time, patience, and kindness to help me feel safe.

I’m looking for a calm and understanding home where I can settle in at my own pace. Gentle attention, a cozy place to relax, and a family who won’t rush me will help me build my confidence and learn that I’m finally home.

I’m also FeLV positive, which makes me a little extra special, but it doesn’t change the fact that I’m deserving of a loving home and a family of my own. My new family should be prepared to work with their veterinarian to understand my needs and help keep me feeling my best.
