Meet Violet, a gorgeous ~12-year-old girl with beautiful blue eyes, an adorable cross-eyed look, and a soft spot for the finer things in life - namely, wet food! Violet is a quiet, easygoing companion who prefers to love her people from nearby rather than from their laps; she’s happiest lounging on the cat tree or back of the couch while everyone hangs out together. She can be timid with new people and may spend her first few days hiding, but once she feels safe, she settles in and enjoys being part of the household. Violet has lived successfully with cats, dogs of all sizes, foster kittens, small animals, and children, including a 3-year-old, and generally takes other animals in stride. She isn’t a cat who enjoys being held for long periods, but she’ll happily share your space - and in her senior years, she’s developed quite the appreciation for a good catnip toy. If you’re looking for a gentle, independent senior lady who doesn’t demand constant attention but still enjoys being part of the family, Violet may be your girl.
