Hi, I’m Shane.

I’m a quiet, sensitive boy who just needs a little time to feel safe, but once I do, my sweet personality really shines. I enjoy having my own space, yet I absolutely love other cats — I bonded with my foster’s resident cat within an hour, and my confidence has soared ever since. I follow my feline friend around, greet her with chirps and headbutts, and would truly thrive in a multi-cat home.

With people, I can be shy at first, but I adore head scratches and will instantly turn into a loud purring engine when you find the right spot. I’m not quite a lap cat yet, though I’m getting braver every day and may become one with patience and time. I’d do best in a calm home, ideally without young children, but older kids who respect my space should be just fine.

I do have a condition that causes my eyelids to curl inward, so my eyes may need routine care — but I promise I’m worth the extra TLC. 🖤
