Hi, I’m Apricot!
I’m a sweet girl who enjoys spending time with my people. I can be a little shy when meeting new friends, but I’m generally friendly and warm up with a little patience and reassurance. Once I’m comfortable, one of my favorite things to do is cuddle up close and relax with my favorite humans. I’m also a big fan of stretching out in a good sploot and claiming the comfiest spot in the house!
I do experience anxiety, so it’s important that my future family understands my needs and is committed to helping me feel safe and supported. I currently receive daily medication, and my adopters should be prepared to continue working with their veterinarian to help me stay happy and comfortable.
I’m looking for a home where I can be the only dog, allowing me to enjoy a calm environment and all the attention for myself. In return, I’ll be a loving companion who’s always ready for cuddles and quality time with my favorite people.
