Meet Rocky — a handsome, athletic guy with the biggest smile and the softest heart once he knows he can trust you.
Rocky is a people-dog through and through. He loves belly rubs, squeaky toys (ask about his favorite stuffed giraffe — he even sleeps with it), and settling in after a good walk. He's house-trained, crate-trained, knows his basic commands, and one of his recent fosters called him "happy-go-lucky" once he's comfortable.
Rocky needs to be the only pet in an adult-only home, with no cats. He can be a little unsure of new people and situations at first, so he's looking for a patient, experienced dog owner who'll let him set the pace and follow our team's introduction guidance. Given his history, we ask that every adopter meet with our behavior team before taking him home — we want this to be his last move.
Rocky's adoption fee is waived thanks to Hensley Legal. After 600+ days of waiting, all he needs now is the right person.
