Hi, I’m Houndini – a smart, curious pup who’s still figuring out the big world. I can be a little shy at first, but once I warm up, I’ll happily roll over for a belly rub or bounce up to say hello. I love to explore and sniff everything, and I’m always up for an adventure.
I can get pretty excited when I see other dogs, and I may be a little loud about it at first, but I’m learning to settle once I’ve had a chance to acclimate. I’ve met other pups here at the shelter — sometimes I’d rather do my own thing, but with the right introductions I’ve done just fine. Because I get a bit hyper focused, a home where my family can help me with structure and patience would be best. Since I’m a bit of an escape artist, I’ll need a secure home to keep me safe.
