Hi, I'm Boots.

I'm a very shy girl who prefers to take life at my own pace. New people and lots of attention can feel overwhelming to me, so I may hide, hiss, or keep my distance while I get comfortable. I'm not a cat who enjoys being touched right away, and sometimes I may choose a quiet spot away from the action.

Even though I'm cautious, I do have a soft spot for treats and am very food motivated. If you're patient, you might find me sharing a room with you, sleeping nearby, or accepting a tasty snack from your hand. I'll need a calm, understanding home that will let me build trust on my own terms. With time, patience, and plenty of treats, I hope to find someone who loves me just the way I am.
