Happy Tail: Kassie

“Greetings IndyHumane Friends,

My name is Sheila Dennis, and my daughter and I adopted our beautiful Kassie from you on August 11th, 2020. We wanted to send you a note of sincere gratitude and also give you an update on Kassie’s transition process.

Kassie has quickly emerged as the queen of our home. We love her with every ounce of our beings, as we do our other furry family member, Lola, our lab mix.

Kassie loves to watch the birds out the window, snuggle beside me on my chair while I work online, and snooze the day away in a blanket nest on my daughter’s bed. 

As you may recall, Kassie is a beautiful, long-haired young lady. We chose Kassie for several reasons, one being that she would need a family that recognized her declawed condition and the need for pain management. We are monitoring her closely and will ensure she lives as pain free as possible throughout her days with us.

From her health records, we could see that you generously partnered with an organization to address the nerve damage in her paws. We are forever grateful for your humane investment in Kassie and the other animals that need your protection and intervention.

I have included a few pictures of Kassie in her new forever home. Thank you again for your service to Kassie and making it possible to have her in our lives.
