Bella

This is our puppy Bella whom we adopted in December. Our daughter Claire could not be happier to have her new best friend.

Santa visited the Humane Society in December to pick out Bella for a special 8-year-old girl. That chubby, tiny puppy has become a lean and feisty hunting dog… or so she thinks. She is loving life on the south side with a yard full of squirrels, raccoons, birds, and even a ground hog to keep her entertained. Perched in the living room window or hanging out in the yard, Bella loves trying to chase critters of all shapes and sizes. When she isn't playing hunter, her favorite activities include fetching tennis balls, napping on her monkey blanket, or playing with her squeaky pig and duck toys. While the three family cats have not quite adjusted to her energetic presence, Bella has brought a lot of joy to the little girl who had wished so hard for a puppy. It is obvious they will be best buddies for a very long time.
