Spay/Neuter Surgeon & Vaccine Clinic Veterinarian (Full Time)

We are seeking a second full-time veterinarian to join our spay/neuter team.  The IndyHumane Downtown Clinic is a 501(c)3 organization dedicated to ending the cycle of pet overpopulation.  We are a high-quality, high-volume, low-cost spay/neuter and vaccine clinic.  We provide services to rescues, shelters, family pets and community cats. 

Have your student loans forgiven and serve the community!  Experience in shelter medicine and HVHQ spay/neuter is preferred but not required.  We offer a range of benefits including medical, vision, life and dental plans, VIN membership and retirement plans with employer matching. We are also proud to provide discounted employee pet health care.

Staff and patron safety is very important at IndyHumane. We have a comprehensive COVID-19 policy including an appointment based system and restricted public access to our clinic.

Spay/Neuter Surgery & Vaccine Clinic Veterinary Technician (Full Time)

We are seeking a veterinary technician for the IndyHumane Downtown Clinic. This position is responsible for assisting in spay/neuter surgery providing check-in/check-out, prep, recovery, and husbandry support/assistance.  Will work with veterinarian to provide wellness services for vaccination clinic patients.

Veterinary Nurse/Assistant

We are currently looking for a veterinary nurse/assistant to assist our veterinarians in shelter medicine duties in our intake, surgery, foster program and vaccine clinic areas. A typical day could include performing physical examinations, heartworm and FIV/FeLV tests, preparing vaccines, restraint and administering heartworm prevention, flea prevention and deworming, receiving intake appointments and educating the public in a manner that is conducive to accomplishing the organization’s goals through professional and respectful conversations with patrons. Good client and peer communication skills, ability to work within a team to accomplish daily tasks and punctuality are a must. Veterinary technology degree or experience preferred.
