Emmy

I wanted to share an update about Emmy, who we adopted on Saturday, June 15th. She got home and met George and Weezie, our 2 older cats, and all went well. She went out to potty and had a full nights sleep…in our bed of course. And what a cuddler!

Losing our 6 year-old Boxer (Taylor) in May, I wasn't sure if I was ready to open my heart up again. Taylor had been my first dog experience, and ultimately, the love of my life. I now know that when you are ready for a new pet, the right one will find you. Taylor would be happy to share a home with Emmy, and Emmy sees her heavenly big sister in a frame on the side of the bed, and knows that they are both home!
