Dollie

My husband and I went to the Humane Society to originally adopt a Min-Pin, but she was already taken. We looked at a couple of other dogs but they were either going through the adoption process or just weren’t the right fit. Then as we were sitting along the hall, one of the volunteers came up hall with Dollie, a 1/2 Beagle 1/2 sneaky neighbor dog mix. She jumped on my husband’s lap, then onto mine, and gave me puppy kisses. The volunteer couldn’t coax her off of my lap- even with a hot dog! He took her for her walk and she came back to us when she came back in. She must have been top of the suck-up class! So we went home with Dollie. She is the sweetest most loving dog on the face of the earth. She is constantly by my side or on my lap. We go to the office every day and she sleeps under my desk with her head on my feet. She was an outside dog, but has quickly in about 4 week’s time turned into a diva because she doesn’t like when it rains. Everyone she meets loves her, and she is great with our 4 grandkids. She and my husband even share the same birthdate! I tell everyone where she adopted us and to go see if they have a four legged Angel for them. She is truly an Angel sent from Heaven! We love her to no end and don’t know what we would do without her. We are very blessed to have her!
