Alannah Jane Wigglebottom — formerly little November — is doing great!

She’s almost doubled in size in the month since she came home, which is great, because she loves wrestling with her new big sister. She also loves playing with fleece and rope toys, as well as tennis balls and her puppy kong, especially with a little bit of peanut butter in it. She’s been doing great with crate training and has already learned how to sit, lie down, wait, and give excellent high-fives, though things like “down” are coming a little harder to her. Potty training is going pretty well, though we’re still working on it. She has come to a peaceable arrangement with the household cat — she leaves him alone, and he doesn’t bop her on the nose. She’s done great on her puppy vet visits and will be starting puppy classes (at our local Petsmart, which is a little closer to home than IndyHumane) the first weekend of January. She loves to meet people, has a mission to protect all the neighborhood kids from the Evil Yellow Monster With Blinky Lights that eats them up every morning, and is really looking forward to meeting more dogs and people soon!
