Volunteer at Mutt Strut 2022!
We are now seeking volunteers to help out with Mutt Strut!
Please review each position’s description and decide which position you would like to volunteer in.
Set-Up Team (Friday 10/14)- Lifting & Walking Required. Responsible for assisting with event and vendor set-up the day before the event.
Floater Team- Must be flexible and ok with downtime. Responsible for filling in, providing break coverage, or helping out in other areas.
Parking Lot Team- Responsible for guiding volunteers, vendors & participants to the correct parking lots, and guiding participants back to Victory Field.
Infield Team- Responsible for providing a welcoming atmosphere, checking wristbands at entrance and exit, directing participants, handing out poo bags, and answering questions from participants.
Registration Team- Must be Computer Literate. Responsible for checking in Registered Participants, processing New Registrants, distributing Shirts/Packets, and direct lines.
Outfield Team- Responsible for guiding participants to the walking path, directing participants on the walking path, helping participants cross streets, handing out potty bags, and checking wristbands upon re-entry to Victory Field.
Paw-ty Break Team- Responsible for holding leashes while patrons use facilities, should be able to read dog body language well.
Utility Team- Lifting & Walking Required. Responsible for filling water stations, maintaining trash/recycling bins, assisting with event set-up/break-down, assisting with vendor set-up/break-down, and making sure pet feces is discarded properly.
Volunteer Center Team- Responsible for Event Volunteer check-in/out, handing out shirts, handing out/collecting lanyards, job description briefing, connecting Volunteers w/Team Leaders, manage snacks/lunch, and Volunteer Center set-up/break-down.
