IndyHumane’s young professionals group, Indy Professionals Advocating Animal Welfare (IPAAW) will host their signature fundraising event, Ales for Adoptable Tails, this Saturday, August 24. The event will take place from Noon to 3 p.m. at the Indianapolis City Market, in partnership with the Tomlinson Tap Room. The event benefits IndyHumane and the animal welfare organization’s mission to serve cats and dogs in need. Event attendees can enjoy beverages from some of Indiana’s finest craft breweries while listening to live music, participating in raffles and contests to win prizes for pets, and meeting adoptable animals from IndyHumane’s Pet Awareness Wagon all while supporting IndyHumane. Social dogs are welcome and encouraged to attend. The event is family-friendly.
Various levels of tickets are available for purchase, and all includetickets for full-sized servings of wine, beer, or spirits.For those serving as designated drivers, discounted tickets are available for $5. Beer, cocktails and wine will be available for purchase. All ticket sales benefit IndyHumane and homeless pets in central Indiana. Ticket prices will increase by $5 on the day of the event. Since forming in 2013, the group has helped shape and promote IndyHumane’s events, provided critical feedback for services and programs, and raised more than $30,000 for homeless pets in Central Indiana.
