IndyHumane is excited to partner with Northview Middle School this weekend in support of Annie Jr., the school’s spring musical. IndyHumane will have their PAW (Pet Awareness Wagon) mobile unit on site one hour prior to each performance to allow attendees to observe and interact with adoptable animals. If show attendees meet an animal they are interested in, they can come to the shelter on Saturday (11 a.m. to 6 p.m.) or Sunday (11 a.m. to 4 p.m.) to adopt or spend more time with the animal.

“We are very excited to be a part of this performance. It’s inspiring to meet young people who want to be involved, help animals and better their communities,” said Director of Volunteer Services Shawna Sims. “And, by partnering with events like this, we can reach new families who otherwise might never visit the shelter.”

Show patrons will also have the chance to meet IndyHumane team members and volunteers to learn about pet adoption, volunteering with IndyHumane, and how families can get involved with the organization. Annie Jr. opens Friday, March 1 at 7 p.m. with additional shows on Saturday, March 2 are at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. The performances take place at Northview Middle School located at 8401 Westfield Boulevard, Indianapolis, IN 46240. Tickets are $5 and are available at the door.
