Mo

I adopted Monet back in late May as an early 25th birthday present. I have shortened her name to Mo (or Mo-mo, at times), and she has settled in quite well and seems to run the house now. I was initially overwhelmed at the idea that I had to take care of another living thing, but now I can't imagine coming home and not hearing her paw the door before I can even walk in. She loves swatting treats out of my hand and sleeping (and clawing) on my yoga mat. I have decided to just give her that mat and have gotten a new one. She loves laying sprawled out, sitting in my shoes, and drinking water with her paw. All of these wonderful memories we're making are what my dad likes to call "Mo-ments." I can't imagine my days without her now, and I have the Humane Society of Indianapolis to thank. We're fortunate to have found each other, and I hope that you continue to find homes for the other wonderful cats and dogs there. Thank you for taking such good care of her until I could bring her home.
