Louise
November 6, 2018 | Happy Tails, I’m from Indy and I adopted my best friend of 21 years from Indy Humane Society. Louise was a stray kitten I adopted in 1994. She was truly my best friend, and I’m pretty sure she convinced my husband to marry me because he couldn’t stand the thought of living without her. My son thought of her as a sibling. She passed away in our arms in 2015 and we still think of her all the time.
Now I write copy for the development department at Oregon Humane Society, and my love for Lou helps me identify with animal lovers and help them see the value in their support of the mission to end animal suffering. So thanks for that, too!
