Khaleesi

Over the summer, we adopted Khaleesi the cat (formerly known as Heather Grey). At the time, my then boyfriend (now fiancé) and I were new to Indy, and we were really missing our family pets. 

When we got Khaleesi, she was getting over an upper respiratory infection and had an old leg injury. During Khaleesi's first night with us, she was very frightened and was meowing nervously. I eventually placed her on my fiancé’s stomach, and she instantly curled up and fell asleep. She hasn't left our side since!

Khaleesi is a very unique cat because she adores cross country road trips. I am originally from New Jersey, and Khaleesi absolutely loves to be on the open road when we visit grandma and grandpa. She loves the different sights and sounds, and she loves to spy on the dogs at rest stops! But what she loves even more is grandma and grandpa's house, where she can run around with their rescue cat, Yoda. Khaleesi has been to seven states and counting, and she has a map on her kitty carrier to prove it!

Thank you so much for taking such good care of our Khaleesi. She truly is the light of our lives!
