it's nice to meet you!

Hi, I'm Peanut! I'm a sensitive little guy looking for a quieter home and an adopter who will take things slowly with me as I adjust to my new environment. I can be very nervous about quick movements or new people reaching towards me or trying to pick me up, so I may not be the best fit for a home with young children. I really love other dogs though, and having another social dog in my new home to act as a "mentor" would be a great way to help me learn that the world isn't such a scary place! And once I'm comfortable with someone, I do love to be close and cuddle in a lap, and also like to play with toys - small tennis balls and soft toys are my favorites! I would do best in a home with out young children.
