it's nice to meet you!

I'm Oreo, I love to play fetch with a tennis ball and will play until my human friends say "enough, I cannot throw another tennis ball." When I was young, a man abused me so I am a little scared of men and meeting new humans. However, once introduced properly to either men or women humans, I will want to play with them. Most of my human friends at IndyHumane are female but I think that is because I am so handsome and fun to play with. I prefer a quiet home environment because of the way that I was treated early in life. I get nervous around a lot of activity and people. Once I trust you though, I am a great, fun friend. I have been quite fearful of other dogs in the past, but lately I have been making some new doggy friends in playgroups! If you have another social and dog-savvy dog in your home, staff can set up an intro to be sure we are comfortable with one another.
