Customer Service Representative (Full Time)

Position is responsible for consulting with Potential Adopters of animals consistent with IndyHumane policies and procedures while upholding the IndyHumane mission. Primary focus will be on the preapproval applications or general adoption applications and finalizing adoption paperwork.  Position is accountable for accurate paperwork and record-keeping for all pet adoptions. As part of the Customer Service and Adoptions Team, you must interact with patrons, coworkers, community service workers, and volunteers professionally and with exceptional Customer Service skills.  Other tasks include, but are not limited to, owner surrender & animal intake, post-adopt follow up, building our retail sales, microchip investigation, and lost & found reporting. Based on job requirements, you must be able to multi-task in a manner to be able to best serve our patrons and our animals. Pay for this position is $16.50/hour.

Feline Care Technician (Full Time)

Are you responsible and caring? Detail-oriented and hard-working? Consistent and adaptable? Love cats and all their quirks? The feline team is looking for a full-time member who is crazy about cats. The feline animal care technicians provide daily care for the feline population at IndyHumane and clean all cat enclosures to shelter sanitation standards. This is a physically demanding position requiring ability to be on your feet for the entire shift.

The starting pay is $14.50/hr, increasing to $15.00/hr upon successful completion of training. The schedule will require weekends and mornings.

Veterinary Technician (Full Time)

Position is responsible for assisting our veterinarians in shelter medicine duties iWe are adding to our vaccine clinic team to better serve the pets and people in our community. This position is responsible for successful vaccine clinic operations, duties in.ncluding performing physical examinations, heartworm and FIV/FeLV tests, preparing vaccines, restraint and administering heartworm prevention, flea prevention and deworming, receiving intake appointments and educating the public in a manner that is conducive to accomplishing the organization’s goals through professional and respectful conversations with patrons. Good client and peer communications skills, ability to work within a team to accomplish daily tasks and punctuality are a must. Pay range for this position is $16 – $18.

Clinic Coordinator/Low-Cost Spay/Neuter Clinic (Full-Time)

The Clinic Coordinator is primarily responsible for the overall operations of the vaccine and high-volume surgery clinic.  Facilitates the surgery check in and out process as well as vaccine clinic and other customer service endeavors.  Maintains complete and accurate records of clinic patients, answers telephones, answers questions from the public, and schedules surgical appointments.  This position requires a positive attitude, excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, flexibility and professionalism. Pay starts at $16-17/hour.
