Penny (fka) Henrietta, is my “little” hippo adopted in December 2015. I first fostered her during heart worm treatment and spay surgery. Like the Grinch my heart grew three sizes that day. This girl is such a sweet soul, open to people and animals alike. We walk a couple times each day ( when possible) at her pace. Lots of smelling, checking out the surroundings and looking for our dog friends. She started out freezing when she saw new dogs, but now proudly walks past. She is very smart and has trained me well.
