Jasmine

I adopted Jasmine (Jetta at the shelter) on 1/24/16. She has been the best cat; even friends tell me I’ll never find another like her. She has a very quiet meow, but she does a lot of talking. She has managed to take over my house with all her toys, cat trees, and scratching posts. She loves to play and be a lap kitty, especially in the winter months. She has learned to get along (or tolerate) my parents dog when we visit them.

I’m so glad that I found her — or maybe it was that she found me that day in shelter. I looked at her and held her for a little bit, then put her back and looked around some more, but I kept going back to her. I don’t remember what it was like before her. I’m so glad that she’s in my life, and I look forward to many more years with her.

This picture is her with a harness on outside; she has learned to like the harness and likes being able to walk around outside and smell all the different smells (especially rabbits)!
