Hera

My husband Johnathan and I adopted Hera the Mastiff in October 2015, and we wanted to give you an update: we absolutely love her and can't imagine life without her. She loves basking in the sun on warm days and snuggling on the couch on cooler nights. She is the sweetest, gentlest, cuddliest 120lb dog I've ever met. Our friends and family love her just as much as we do, and she's done great at meeting them over the past months. She loves chewing on bones, burying them outside (and sometimes under a blanket inside), and digging them up again. She also loves being brushed, running around around the back yard, chasing the neighborhood squirrels up trees, and sleeping. Her favorite snacks are apples with peanut butter and carrots. We love her so much and are pretty sure she loves us right back. We are so grateful to be her forever family!
