Leroy Brown, previously known as “Bacon,” was adopted from the Humane Society of Indianapolis in 2007. His adopter, Chelsea, took a chance on this “yellow-carded” dog who turned into a family inspiration.
Reba the dog

Reba, a Basset Hound/American Pit Bull Terrier mix, was adopted after being sponsored and treated for heartworm at the Humane Society of Indianapolis. Her new family says it feels like Reba’s been a part of their family for years. Their cats might even agree!
Minnie the Maltese/Yorkie puppy

Minnie, a Maltese/Yorkie puppy, was recently adopted from IndyHumane. She’s attended Canine Training School classes, and her new mom volunteers at the shelter, too.
Colby the Dog
