Please note the following:
-
This low-cost clinic is not intended to replace the relationship between pet owners and their regular veterinarian. Only basic services and products are available at this clinic and veterinary advice on other matters will not be provided. It is important for an animal’s overall health and well-being to be seen regularly by a private veterinarian.
-
Do not bring sick animals to the clinic. Consult with your regular veterinarian if your animal is ill or injured.
-
Aggressive animals may be turned away and referred to private veterinarians where their special needs can be more easily accommodated.
-
This clinic does not provide general health exams nor can it provide certificate for interstate or international travel. These requests need to be completed through a family veterinarian and requirements for travel should be researched through specific national consulate. The Humane Society will provide a list of partner veterinary clinics for your reference if requested.
-
Please be aware that we discuss spay and neuter options with all clients as part of our mission.
-
NEW: IndyHumane’s Low – Cost Vaccine Clinic will now be offering 3 year rabies vaccines. You can qualify one of two ways:
-
A client must bring veterinary records showing administration of a 3-year rabies vaccine within the past three years (from any veterinary clinic).
- OR -
-
A client must have received a rabies vaccine through the Humane Society Low-Cost Vaccine Clinic within the past year. Humane Society staff will examine the record to determine if vaccine boosters were administered at appropriate intervals.
