Animal Welfare Center Closed September 26th

The IndyHumane Animal Welfare Center at 456 N. Holmes Avenue will be closed Friday, September 26th. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

IndyHumane's vaccine clinic location at 7929 N. Michigan Road will be open from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m., if you would like to visit this location today.

IndyHumane offers discounted rabies vaccines for World Rabies Day

Did you know that Sunday, September 28th, is World Rabies Day? And, did you know that not only does a rabies shot keep your pet safe from this disease, it also keeps YOU safe from legal ramifications? Your pet not having a current rabies vaccination will cost you $100, and your pet not having a current rabies vaccination tag will cost you an additional $25. So, in support of world rabies day, your pet can get a discounted rabies vaccination at our Michigan Road Vaccine Clinic and eliminate the risk of rabies AND the risk of $125 in fines if your pet is caught uncovered.

Animal Welfare Center hosting its second “Big Fix” event this Saturday

The IndyHumane Animal Welfare Center will hold its second “Big Fix” event on Saturday, September 20. The goal of the event is to provide spay/neuter and vaccine services for community cats living in and around Indianapolis.

The Animal Welfare Center is located at 456 N. Holmes Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46222, and the event will run from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. this Saturday. Spay/neuter surgeries will be provided for community caretakers in any zip code. A $10 donation to support the program is greatly appreciated, but help will be provided at no charge to those in need. We are able to provide this service thanks to generous support from the Nina Mason Pulliam Charitable Trust and the Joanie Bernard Foundation.
