Home 4 the Holidays: Help 1.5 million Shelter Animals Find Homes

There's no better way to share joy than with family - so why not adopt a new family member in time for the holidays? October 1st kicks off the Iams Home 4 the Holidays pet adoption campaign. Last year, our shelter animals were some of the million-plus to find homes in the United States during the holiday season. This year, help us and other shelters nationwide reach our goal of finding families for 1.5 million pets by January 5, 2010! Even if you have plenty of pets, there are many other ways to help.

I'm Damascus, a seven-year-old Hound mix. I'm a catch - I'm housebroken and enjoy the company of dogs and cats. I'm a cool guy who's docile, laid-back, very friendly with people of all ages, and I love to play fetch! If you're looking for a chill, mature dog, visit me today!

Watch the debut of Pet Pals TV this weekend on Sunday, September 6th at 11:30am on WTHR Channel 13! You'll see Bender, a special-needs dog who was recently adopted from the Humane Society of Indianapolis and is currently featured on our Facebook page. And Joni Michels, who hosts the show with Patty Spitler, interviews NASCAR driver Tony Stewart. The Tony Stewart Foundation has been a key contributor to the success of our annual Mutt Strut fundraiser - one of the largest dog walks in the world - held at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
