Though the big game between the Indianapolis Colts and the New Orleans Saints is over, a battle between two of the regions’ largest non-profit animal-welfare organizations continues.
If you donate to the Humane Society of Indianapolis online or postmark your mailed check by Sunday, Feb. 14, you can help us win the first-ever Super “Shelter Bowl” Challenge against the Humane Society of Louisiana to see which shelter can raise the most funds for their animals.
Make a donation in the same amount of your favorite player’s number to recognize their post-loss grief. Or better yet, donate the amount of points you wish the Colts would have scored in the Super Bowl!
Your donation will directly support our services and animals like Manning, the pictured puppy. And though we still love our Colts after their loss, a Humane Society of Indianapolis win would be a great victory for both our city and our animals!
Visit the Humane Society of Louisiana site to read more about the challenge or “Paws to Rebuild” for more info on helping their organization rebuild facilities destroyed by Hurrican Katrina.
