Rooms for a Reason

Stay in the heart of downtown at the Embassy Suites Indianapolis Downtown or Conrad Indianapolis and feel good about giving back. Each month in 2013, guests can book the Rooms for a Reason special offer where 10% of every room night will be donated to a local Indianapolis charity. The Humane Society of Indianapolis will receive 10% of every room night that actualizes in the month of May.

Children ages 4 - 7 and an adult are invited to the Indianapolis Public Library as Rebecca Warren of the Humane Society shares with them some of the basics of pet ownership. The focus will be on cats and dogs. A dog may be in attendance at this program.

Adults and families are invited to the Indianapolis Public Library as representatives from IndyHumane explain what your dog may be saying to you when he is stubborn, bites, or doesn't seem to be listening. Attendees will learn the tools to "speak dog." A dog will be in attendance.

The Center at 456 N. Holmes Avenue offers low-cost vaccines, flea and tick control, deworming, heartworm preventative, nail trimming and microchipping.

Monday, Thursday and Friday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Tuesday: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
