My sweet friend and foster failure Otis (formerly Helio) is just the best puppy ever. He and his sister Danica came to my house as 4-week-old foster puppies last April/May after my 10 year old dog passed away. He likes to beg for popcorn, go for walks in the park, bark at the neighborhood coyote, sleep on my pillow, eat Jimmy Choo’s, ride in cars, and put his head on my computer while I am trying to have a teleconference. He is learning to become a foster friend (he cried for 2 days when the last foster puppy left but seems to be okay with foster kitties). I heard that Danica moved to Chicago and hope to see pictures of her on Happy Tails someday (fingers crossed). We had his DNA tested and he is ~50% American Staffordshire Terrier, ~25% Bulldog, ~25% German Shepherd, and a little bit of other misc. breeds. I think the German Shepherd genes gave him the ability to place his ears in odd positions. We just love him!
