Katie and Rory

I wanted to give you an update on our girls, both of which were adopted from the Humane Society of Indianapolis. Katie, our 15 month old terrier mix, was adopted last year (Feb 2012) and is now a big sister to 2 month old Rory (formerly “Aurora” at the shelter), a mini dachshund/mini pincher mix who we added to the family just shy of 2 weeks ago (Jan 20, 2013). Both girls are doing well and love cuddling. Katie loves taking walks with my husband (as long as he doesn’t make her wear her coat!) and Rory and I took our first official walk last night. There is a magnet on my husband’s car that reads “Who rescued who?” and I firmly believe that is a true sentiment. I have to say that these wonderful dogs add so much to our lives.
