Supporting Foundations

Working Together for a More Humane Indianapolis

Foundation partners provide grants, project funding, and generous support of our services. From subsidizing fees for service to expanding staff and equipment resources, IndyHumane foundation partners are vital to the future of our organization and are key players in our collaborative efforts to save even more lives every day.

If your foundation or charitable organization is interested in forming a philanthropic partnership, please contact Steven Stolen, Chief Executive Officer, at 317.872.5650 x104, or via email at sstolen@indyhumane.org.

Founded in 1866, the ASPCA was the first humane organization in the Western Hemisphere. Today we work to rescue animals from abuse, pass humane laws and share resources with shelters nationwide.

The BISSELL Pet Foundation's mission is to help reduce the number of homeless pets in shelters and to support organizations dedicated to the humane care and treatment of animals.

A personal foundation of the Central Indiana Community Foundation, the Efroymson Family Fund continues a long legacy of charitable commitment by the Efroymson family in Central Indiana. Established in 1998 by Dan and Lori Efroymson, it funds various efforts to promote the viability of Indianapolis. To date, it has awarded more than $81.7 million in grants in Central Indiana and beyond.

As desired by its founders, Lilly Endowment concentrates its philanthropic efforts in community development in its home territory of Indianapolis and Indiana.

Every year an estimated 7 million pets enter shelters. Nearly 3 million never find homes. We can change that.

The goal of PetSmart Charities is to find a lifelong, loving home for every pet. We get closer every day with adoption events and centers, pet rescue programs and support for spay/neuter efforts.
