IndyHumane's Animal Welfare Center on the West Side is accepting resumes for the following positions:

Part-time or Full-time Veterinarian

The Humane Society of Indianapolis is the leading voice for the welfare of animals and improving their quality of life.  As part of our mission to not only shelter & rehabilitate homeless animals, but to also keeps animals in their homes, we operate two low-cost Vaccine clinics, a Mobile Clinic, and a high-quality Spay/Neuter clinic.  We are seeking an energetic Veterinarian (or 2 part-time Veterinarians) with a desire to pursue Shelter Medicine who enjoys community outreach and educating clients as much as the hands-on with the animals.

Full-Time schedule is 4 days per week, about 36 hours.
Tuesdays 8-4 (Spay/Neuter at Westside Clinic)
Wednesday 10-6 (Westside clinic)
Thursday 8-4 (Spay/Neuter at Westside clinic)
Saturday 10-6 (Westside clinic)

Part-Time schedule is 2 days per week with a rotating Saturday.
Tuesday/Saturday one week, then Tuesday/Wednesday the next. OR Thursday/Saturday one week, then Wednesday/Thursday the next.

No emergency or overnight shifts required.  There is a lot of variety in these positions!  These positions may also pick up shifts at our main shelter assisting in treatments and surgery there during maternity leaves, vacations, etc.  This would be a great position for either a seasoned Veterinarian or a new-grad interested and passionate about Shelter Medicine!

IndyHumane prides itself on a fun, welcoming, and REWARDING work culture.

For full-time positions we offer medical, dental, and vision, as well as 401k & match, a generous PTO policy, and many other discounts.  This position has a lot of room for growth.  IndyHumane currently employs 4 full-time, and 1 part-time Veterinarian.
