10-year citywide plan for animal welfare

The Humane Society of Indianapolis, other Indy-based animal welfare organizations, and city agencies responsible for public safety have developed a 10-year plan for animal welfare in Indianapolis.
The goals of the Indianapolis Animal Welfare Alliance include animal welfare, prevention of animals being euthanized for space, placing animals into foster and permanent homes, education outreach, and public safety.
