Sponsored Cats and Dogs
These animals came to us with special needs and received financial help from kind people like yourself who donated to provide the special care they need before finding their forever families.
If you'd like to be an angel for an animal, please see our Adoptable Dogs or Adoptable Cats pages - animals in need of sponsorship are not available for adoption, but will have special photos and instructions on how you can help! If you know who you'd like to sponsor, visit our Medical Sponsorship page to donate and save an animal.
Max the Dog: Demodex
Thank you Kristen M! Max needed sponsorship for a minor skin condition called demodex. With time and TLC, this is a very treatable condition. Max was found stray in a park by some good Samaritans and is now at home with a new family!
Maverick the Dog: Broken Leg
Crystal H. sponsored this puppy to help him heal from a broken leg. Our vets decided to first try splinting his leg in hopes that the fracture can heal and we can save his leg. Thanks, Crystal!
Tufty the Cat: Entropion Eye Surgery
Carol G. donated a medical sponsorship so Tufty could have entropion eye surgery. This is a painful condition where the animal’s eyelashes poke down into the animal’s eye, and it can eventually cause corneal ulcers. The surgery will permanently repair the flaw and help save Tufty’s vision. On behalf of Tufty the cat, thank you for your kindness, Carol!
